No, they do not stay sharper or last longer than standard blades.
I was really hoping that this blade would look like my titanium coated scissors but far from it. The blade was no longer smooth, it was starting to leave the ends of the paper backing, anyone who does decals or stickers will know what I'm talking about when the blade becomes dull. So I would recommend it, yes, WHY? Because there is NO other blade that fits this cutter as it is proprietary.
