I have two crested geckos, a 5 year old 50 gram male (he is tiny) and a 4 month old 5 gram female. My male has learned to release the suction cups so I've never had a ledge, the reviews have won me over and there are no complaints about the ledge itself! Expect the fact that my male gecko can fit in cups. Despite being flat, they are huge in diameter! It's difficult to get a small amount (which my geckos would eat in one sitting) into a bowl because they're so big there's a bit of a waste problem, but that's mostly because my geckos are a bit dumb and there must be plenty of food for them to find.
