I like the quality and assembly of this backpack. Initially I was afraid to spend that much on a backpack from a water bottle manufacturer as my experience with backpacks has always been with a reputable brand like Osprey. Hydro Flask did not disappoint at all. The material is comparable to all my Osprey bags and looks very high quality. I love the carabiner loops on the front as this is where I stash my gloves and helmet when not in use. The loops are sewn strong and of high quality. The 2 liter water bag is made from high quality materials and will keep my ice and water cold for up to 4 hours. It is very well insulated and does not take up all the storage space of the bag. I love how it sits low on your back so you don't feel it all over your back like some hydration packs do. The partition between your back and backpack protects you AND your water from overheating while riding. This is a key factor that goes a long way in keeping your water cooler for longer. The hose is made of high quality material, has an ON/OFF knob and the plastic you bite can be replaced if you chewed and messed it up or something happened. to lose it The strap system ensures the perfect fit, whether you want it snugly on your torso and waist, or loose. The bag has ample space for a change of clothes, keys, wallet, bike tools, sunscreen etc. I wouldn't trade this hydration pack for any other and would highly recommend it to any mountain biker or just those who enjoy hiking and a lightweight hydration pack.
