Samsung SmartThings scammed me and asked me to upgrade my account for a new app and system. This removed all devices from my account and I was unable to get any of my devices back. That giant middle finger from Samsung SmartThings was the final straw, so I switched to the Hubitat. This transition was a blessing in disguise. Hubitat is light years ahead of SmartThings in every way. I'm frustrated that I've endured the SmartThings headache for so long. But now that I'm on Hubitat, that SmartThings outlet isn't working anymore. I can successfully connect the device to the Hubitat, but the outlet is poorly designed and does not recognize itself properly in the Hubitat. When I turn the outlet on or off with the Hubitat, the outlet doesn't reliably respond to my actions. Also, the socket status in Hubitat is not updated until I manually update the device. I have over a dozen different smart plugs and this one from SmartThings ranks as the worst. If you are looking for a reliable, high-quality smart socket, I recommend using the Aeotec Smart Switch 6.
