I bought this for my working German Shepherd to wear on a daily basis. Although the teeth are short and he has long hair he is well behaved so I used him when we were away in case something happened when he needed correction. My hands are crippled by Rheumatoid Arthritis so my trainer suggested this collar for its ease of use. I found it easy to use but was concerned that the piece of plastic covering the clip would fall off when I remove it. But what's even more concerning is that the whole collar just fell off on two separate occasions while I was with him. The leash was tied in one of the cases, but there was no pressure on it. He just stood next to me. Another time he just fell down while we were walking. It scared me because we were in the parking lot but luckily it stopped when the car stopped. I've noticed that there are dog training centers that don't use this type of closure due to this issue. I just shouldn't lose my dog over this. The first time I thought I might not have snapped it into place properly, but the second time it happened when it just fell off. i give it back
