An amazing item that is truly standard in every home theater!

This is an amazing little technology. Being almost deaf, I rely on headphones to hear anything on the TV. This is made more difficult by having these systems at home. Most systems don't have an optical audio output, and most TVs don't allow you to output audio to two sources at the same time. This little guy lets you take an HDMI signal from a receiver, separate the audio from it and output it via optical audio or a 3.5mm jack. The HDMI signal can then be fed back to the television at up to 4k 30Hz. The result is a true 4K picture on screen, digital audio from a home theater for my wife and digital audio from headphones for me. As an added bonus, I can leave the AV receiver off, still have a picture on my TV, and hear through my headphones if I'm just watching. So all in all, if you need headphones to enjoy your TV like I do, or if you need to hook up two pairs of speakers to your TV and an outdoor space, for example, this little fella will be a very easy way to do it. In general, the processing quality seemed at the highest level, the device is a bit heavy. However, they include all the necessary cables. However, you must provide a USB port for power (most smart TVs have available USB ports, and I think everyone with a smartphone has at least one dust-collecting USB power bank). So it shouldn't be too much of an obstacle. Otherwise connect your home theater (HDMI) output to this type and connect the (HDMI) output to your TV and digital audio to headphones, speakers, whatever you want to output over SPDIF connections. Plug in the USB power and that's it! Once you just enjoy it, no further setup is required. There's a switch on the box to format both input and output audio for different surround sound configurations. However, I recommend leaving it enabled as no additional configuration is required.
