Melted on 3rd test and glued open
I was planning to use it as a switch for my house's 12 volt backup drain pump. It was small, compact and easy to set up. During height adjustment on the 3rd test run, the plastic housing melted and deformed, causing the float to get stuck in the up and down position. Maybe it was just a defective unit, but I got my money back without question. But I spent the extra $2 and got a reliable marine float switch instead and there are no problems.
