I bought this remote so my wife can use Netflix and Amazon without opening the xb1 app. This only works if you point the remote directly at the console and hope you press the button hard enough. The remote is fine as long as you don't need to fast forward or rewind, as you'll surely spend seconds stopping functions while your movie or TV show rewinds until you go to the console and point the remote at 5ft. I had to spend an extra $12 and buy the original remote. Super annoyed. The only reason I didn't give the remote 1 star is because it works in perfect conditions. Pros: Cheap, works if you're very close to the console, not too big. Cons: You have to press the button very hard, delay, seems to have a very short working distance
