NOT good quality - Skiing

I bought this jacket for my daughter to use as a ski jacket only. After 1 month, the zipper teeth started falling off. And when she came home from the mountain last weekend, the seam under her arm tore. I can't contact the seller directly to request a replacement, so it seems I've run out of my $$? Pretty disappointing. I thought I was getting a quality product.
