Let's start with the fact that you can't get a Full Speed SSD out of the case because it was built directly onto the mainboard. However, the read and write speeds are really decent. If you use it as a flash drive, everything is fine. Transferring large amounts of data heats up the drive inside and the case warms up a bit. Don't burn yourself seriously, just hard enough because you don't expect it. Your typical drive under load runs at around 100F +/-5F, keep that in mind before you touch it.
