My setup is a PoE injector + "GeekPi USB-C PoE Splitter Gigabit" connected with a Cat6 Ethernet cable (about 10 meters). The router is used to extend the WiFi range and connect the TV box to the Internet mainly for online broadcasting. This setup has been running 24/7 with no issues for 2 months now. No performance loss, not a single day. There is no RPM drop, the RPM is the same at both points (injector and splitter). Excellent picture quality without connection problems. So it seems to me that the router gets enough power to work even with spikes.
