Review on 🖨️ Speedball Wooden Handle Block Printing Baren: Comfort & Quality - Made in USA (4 Inches) by Kelsey Brown

I've recently started making linocuts and I've had trouble getting consistent results on large areas of ink by rubbing the paper against the block with a spoon. After some reading I ordered this speedball bar hoping to get sharper prints with more consistent ink coverage. Build quality is pretty decent here. The wooden handle was comfortable to hold and squeeze with an adult hand. The printing surface is covered with a kind of mesh, but slides very smoothly over the paper when pressed. The results are promising After a little practice I was able to get a much more even coverage of the ink on the paper and I find it better overall than using a spoon. Until I find a real press I think it will be very useful.
