Review on 🧸 Snowman Stacker Wooden Toddler Toy by Melissa & Doug (8 pieces) by Jose Pacyga

Looks good but the workmanship is poor and the finish is very poor. I gave it to my 21 month old daughter and after putting her fingers through the middle hole of the wooden pieces, she showed me her white fingers: they had very small particles of white paint on them. I did the same and encountered the same problem: see image. The black hat and red neck look better, but all the white details are broken. How safe is color? it's definitely not something I should have swallowed as it has nothing to do with her body. The toy is now out of reach and I'm trying to figure out how to fix it :-(. Will most likely throw it in the bin for safety reasons. Very disappointed that such poor quality 'Made in China' could make it go unnoticed in the USA.Interesting who did quality control on these toys.
