With low noise level, the fan is very quiet and seems to run forever. The max time we've ever used was 10 hours and we always charge it after use. On a high setting, it's definitely louder and interferes with listening to conversations, music, or watching TV. Only criticism is that the connection of the legs to the fan feels a bit unreliable. The legs themselves fell hard. We tested them by wrapping them around a vertical metal pole and the fan stayed in place without slipping off. This isn't my choice for a large room as high settings are loud enough to be distracting and a large fan would work better.
