This is a great product in so many ways. except for one (I'll get to that later). It's solid and stable, has a good weight, is well built and looks quite nice (although the company logo is quite big, gaudy and prominent). I'm not a fan of overbranding. In any case, it holds (and hides) the charging cable very well. It might not be the best option for travel because it doesn't fold or anything, but it's not big enough to tuck between your clothes in your suitcase and it's fine. All in all a very good Apple Watch stand. However, and this is a big problem, they have a very poor design in terms of the angle at which the watch sits. The stand is tilted back too far (maybe 160 degrees or so), meaning your watch is looking up more than it is at you. This is very annoying, especially since the angle is so wide that if you turn it sideways, the Apple Watch won't work in bedside mode. It fits and holds well this way, but the display doesn't go into bedside mode as it's tilted back too much. The clock thinks it's almost flat. This is madness! You can't tell from the pictures but believe me that's the problem. It's a shame because otherwise I would probably give this item 5 stars. So, pay attention to these issues before buying.
