Testers claim "100% waterproof" right after opening the product description. I put some water on this cover, let it sit for a few seconds, then checked under it and my couch was a little damp. I thought maybe it was an accident so I put the lid on the bottom and checked again with some more water. Immediately checked again and the paper towels I had on the floor were wet. I lifted the lid to see how and why water was leaking since it's advertised as "100% waterproof" and I could see light through the lid through the tiny holes it stuck in. I would not recommend using it if your goal is to protect polyurethane seats from accidents or pet spills. It won't stop the liquid from ruining your seats. It looks good and I think it would be nice if the seats were free of dirt and debris.
