Review on 🔒 Black Kensington Portable Combination Cable Lock for Laptops and Devices (Model K64670AM) by Michael Godo

This lock looks secure and I doubt anyone will steal my Macbook Pro without special tools. The first major problem I encountered was setting up a lock. The manual requires you to use a thin paperclip, but I'm not an office camper and I don't carry super-thin paperclips. I had to go all the way to my shop tool box to get a 1/8 inch screwdriver to install the lock. Another issue is that the coils are very springy and you can only lift them about 2.5 feet before they resist. and pull the laptop back. It's great when tying it to a picnic park bench with holes at the top, but a pain when you have to walk a distance to tie it to your bed etc. Overall it's decent for the money and gets the job done. Pros: Sturdy Does the job Two year warranty Can't be easily cut/removed Cons: A hassle to install Spring loaded (pulls laptop) A bit short
