I am a great friend of Freud. Freud simply makes excellent quality products that the average consumer can afford. Other than that, this dado set is no different than other Freud products I own. Cuts a good dado with smooth edges and a flat bottom. It's not the world's fastest dado cutting set, but then again. I really don't expect it to be in its price range. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the spacers that came with it. You can't read the thickness markings on the discs, which isn't a big deal if you have a good caliper, but not everyone has a good caliper. Otherwise it's a great dado set.
