Do not install the front fence and forward.
In general a nice house. As mentioned in several other reviews, my hamster also got his paw caught in the front fence. Luckily, I was able to see and pull it out almost immediately. I completely removed the fence as does everyone who buys this house. All in all a nice little hideaway except for the front fence.
