Now I feel safer!
It was hard to take and I've done things like this before. I don't consider myself an expert, but I know what I'm doing. I bought them for a window on the side of my house that faces a public footpath and there was a newly built patio directly below. They seem solid enough and have enough screws (10) to slow someone down enough that it would likely prevent a break-in. Oh, and another reviewer mentioned that short screws come with them. So I was surprised that the ones worth me were about 3 inches long.
