I bought these for my ear lobes not cartilage. I didn't know what the earrings were advertised for when I bought them, especially as all the photos and reviews are on the earlobes. I wanted them to hang down but the hoops were too small so they fit snugly around my earlobe and kept moving. They were easy to put on and take off and the clasps never broke considering I wore them every day and slept for a while which was fine. I just wish the tires themselves were a little bigger. I kept checking to see if they were on the side of my earlobes, and they always were, so I kept correcting them to sit straight. I don't wear them anymore, they just sit on my desk.
