The collar was a bit big so I had to redo it but it works really great! It took me a few tries to get the right position and tension. I placed it under the feathers near the base of the neck, leaving enough room for my pinky to get through. If your rooster is still crowing pretty loudly, you might need to tweak a few things, but I'd say it reduces the noise by a good 50%. At some point even dragged him. I took a video but it actually appears to be louder than it actually is and I'm 3ft away from it. It's a lot more subdued than it sounds.
