First, my cell phone died while connected to this charger because it was too weak to charge with GPS on. I bought and plugged into a high speed charger and it slowed down the discharge but the charge level still dropped. I worked on this by plugging the phone directly into a high speed charger. As I was driving on a rough road, the phone fell out of its holder just as I was exiting the freeway. I had to drive several miles with my phone on the ground before I could stop and pick up the phone. It was a disappointment.
