Replaced my old vacuum with this one. I am impressed with this vacuum cleaner and at the same time dismayed at how poorly my last vacuum cleaner (which was very expensive) worked. I only got this vacuum because I broke my previous one by having the hose (which was in front of the vacuum) hanging in a closet. Another feature I love about this vacuum is the hose that runs from the bottom of the vacuum to the collection bin on the back. This vacuum comes apart in 3 places (with a simple twist) to remove anything that may have been accidentally sucked in, rather than having to pull out a screwdriver and disassemble the entire vacuum like previous models I've had. The hose is easy to use and the jets are life saving. The pet hair is very impressive and the vacuum gets the job done (although you may need to use the Swiffer for small tight spaces and tiny corners). I keep the pet attachment in my desk drawer as I kept knocking it off the vacuum where it's attached and it kept the hose from getting behind the furniture I was trying to vacuum behind. All necessary attachments are included. There are no additional costs for ordering other spare parts. The filters are washable and come with 2. If you wash one, you can use the other. The cable is super long. I want it to rewind by itself. However, the vacuum cleaner I've had in the past would rewind itself and this feature stopped working about 2 years into ownership. It's not on the ball (like the Dyson) so it's not as easy to maneuver, but it does the job. If you find that the vacuum has too much resistance, you may need to set the floor setting too low. You just need to set the height on the dial. It's heavy and quite noisy. If you are looking for a lighter and quieter model then this is not for you. However, every vacuum cleaner has its advantages and disadvantages. Lighter and quieter vacuum cleaners don't have the suction power of this one. It just depends what you are looking for.
