Wet blasting with stainless steel is the only way to completely clean brass. including pockets for capsules and the inside of the case. Water and Dawn is all I use. If you use tap water (i.e. hard water), buy some Lemishine (designed for dishwashers) and it will be of great help. The included media separator is EXTREMELY useful. This is a 5 star product but there are two issues that I deducted a star for. The first issue is that the lid seems to need to be overtightened to keep it from leaking. I need to make sure the lid and container surfaces are absolutely clean of EVERYTHING, including lint from the towel. Then I apply a very, very thin coat of Hornady case sizing wax (lanolin based I believe) to the rubber pad and press firmly to keep it from bleeding. two grooves along which the container rolls. Sometimes they stay so tight that removing them sometimes leaves the rubber from the liner. I see it breaking down sooner rather than later. I read reviews of deadlocked cases and saw Lyman reply that they fixed the issues. I had my fingers crossed that my device would have an updated container design, but it doesn't. I haven't tried the Frankford jar but wish I had gotten this unit instead just because of the container issue.
