My husband and I usually drink a bottle of wine with dinner, but as we often prefer a glass each, there's usually half a bottle left over. So we got this cork to keep the wine fresh until the next day (or even a few days later). The cork works very well and helps keep the wine fresh, especially in cases where we have had trouble removing the cork leaving the cork not in the best shape for re-use. The only thing I didn't care about about this cork was that it was so tall that it was difficult to put a bottle of wine back in the wine cooler. It works, but it makes the bottle awkward to store. Overall I like it though because it helps keep open wines fresher and it certainly makes a nice gift for people who enjoy their wine.
