These cables are great. My most recent cables were made in early 2015 and were of high quality but could not do everything my new 4K smart TV offers. These cables have a rigid metal jacket. For protection and durability, this is a great feature. However, they don't just pop out of my wire canal and enter it. The 6 foot cables I used are braided with nylon so they bend into conduit long enough to reach my devices. These cables take up more cable at large bends and are therefore a bit short. I replaced two 6" with 10" and that fixed the problem. So if your old cables are just covered in rubber or fabric and are snug fitting, I would recommend getting the longer 10 foot cables.
