Our 2 1/2 year old cat loves it. It's great that you can disassemble and clean it. The only thing he seems to have trouble with is the slider, but other than that he loves exploring his treats. When he gets too used to the surroundings, we rearrange them, sometimes turning in a different direction or at a different angle. For example, the flip-up one (which btw looks like a toilet on the inside) presents a different challenge with the handle facing inward. Attention: Our cat uses the skills learned with this toy in other areas. . We have a closet with mirrored sliding doors. One day I found him hiding there and thought maybe the door was ajar and he stuck his head or paws in for leverage. Instead, he was recently caught putting his paws on the flat surface of a door and opening the door. Yesterday when he was prevented from getting into the fridge with the door open, he went to the cupboard next to it and pulled the handle to open it, saw what was there and moved on.
