Subject to review pending full field testing. Also, I had to get a replacement because the 1st was defective. The 2nd worked better, but had the same cons. Bought digital because of the built in pressure/temp charts and temp sensors. The digital program is crap. What is supposed to be a pressure/temp gauge is wrong. The gauge pressure may be ok but the associated gas temp is mostly missing or is incorrect. Former. R22 at 64psi in gs/b 37f does not read like 235f! Both the high and low pressure valves must be open or the vacuum level will not show correctly. If the unit does not have a high side port close the high side connector and open the red valve, then you won't see random numbers glaring error is to include the setting for R717 ammonia. 717 is corrosive to all copper alloys. The hose set and the inner parts are made of brass. Superheat and subcooling readings are missing or incorrect. As for the tubing set with PE seals, poly resists many chemicals but is not flexible and will leak after the 3rd or 4th connection. He takes the set and doesn't come back. Added to this is the poor documentation that does not cover all the functions and limitations of the sensors. In fact, he cannot be trusted. Why bother with over 80 gases if it doesn't work with all of them? Don't waste your time or money on this unless you plan on using it only on your car. Return the original and replacement for a refund.
