This is the bomb. I used to buy a sock with just Nyjer seeds, but it got eaten by a bear. It has a mix of other small seeds that goldfinches, redfinches and purple finches loved until a squirrel threw it on the ground and chewed on a sock. I had to buy another (third!) sock. I still have the tube it was sent in, if there is room in another sock I will start adding the seeds from that sock. Mind you, if you have wood rats they won't hesitate to gnaw holes in it, but finches, titmice and titmice love it!
