This is a legal barn door hardware. The instructions are a bit "IKEA" but still good enough to get the hardware set up. By this I mean that some of the instructions are written in short handwriting and the way they relate to measurements is non-standard. It's easy to get over if you read it 3-4 times before proceeding with the actual installation. The hardware is heavy and feels solid. I made my own barn door so I was a little apprehensive because I used real wood and not some cheap crappy lightweight chipboard copy. It holds the door well with NO FLEX. The door slides easily along the track. This kit comes with floor tracks for the door, but they are plastic and need to be bolted to the FLOOR. I bought a separate one to cut into a molding or wall and it suited me better. Oh, it does NOT come with a handle. HAHA. I don't know why I thought it would happen, but it didn't, so I had to move the door along the track very carefully at first. The only downside I had was that I ordered a longer pole which is NOT one pole but two. These two bars are held together with a plate and 4 SMALL screws. The instructions require you to assemble the poles first and then attach them to the wall. When you do chores around the house, things may not go as smoothly as you or she planned. BEWARE OF BENDING THE TWO RODS. This will bend and twist the plate and will require some work to realign the bars. In particular, if they just made it so that there are TWO PLATES (one on each side) to hold the bars together for longer sets, that might solve this whole problem. Mine has a slight bulge in the middle that doesn't really bother, but you can tell there's a slight misalignment since the bar is slightly bent. Otherwise I like the equipment. Very simple and easy to install.
