DO NOT BUY. ALMOST DEFINITELY A SCAM DEVICE!

I have about 1 1/2 TB of data to carry around, so the idea of an inexpensive, small and light 2 TB storage device was a good one. Unfortunately, I quickly ran into the same issues as the other reviewers. At around 400GB I started seeing disk corruption. I've tried repartitioning and reformatting it with several different file systems (NTFS, exFAT and ext4) and they all had the same problem: disk corruption at around 400GB. When I repaired the filesystem with chkdsk or fsck it claimed to fix the problems, but the content I had saved to the disk was subsequently missing and attempts to save more data to the disk failed around the 400GB Fail tag around with disk corruption messages. Curious about what was inside, I opened the entrance. Inside was a bunch of glue holding something with a USB-A connector. When I removed the adhesive, I found the device in the photos. I looked around a bit and found that it was almost certainly a 64GB Russian flash drive, with the controller reprogrammed to show 2TB, the USB-C connector soldered to the interface and was installed in the case. I tried to post a previous review with links showing how I reached this conclusion, but Revain has a policy of not posting links in reviews that do not lead to Revain. If you look for the numbers on the flash memory chip in the last picture you can definitely find what I did. TL; DR, this device is almost certainly a fancy coated 64GB USB drive that has been tampered with in this way. that it reports a higher capacity than the drive actually has. This is a scam and should be avoided.
