I bought this 10 inch contour gauge for my husband and he loves it! It works great and he will be using it for our new home improvement projects. It's very easy to use, you just place the contour gauge on what you need, fix it (works great!), place it on the element to be cut, circle and cut. Granted, the cutting part can still be annoying because you need the right tools to make the cuts, but other than that, it takes all the guesswork out of it! Great little tool! We installed some laminate flooring and the doors/baseboards/etc. bypassed. it always hurts It's very difficult to try to circle them and then copy them onto the floor, especially when you need multiple boards to go around the object. We're laying another laminate and it's amazing!
