I have a 7-9 year old little rescue cat who had a tough life until I got her two years ago. From her past she suffered from food anxiety. As a result, she began to vomit after eating. I went to the vet, wrote out prescriptions and eventually started lightly dusting her food with purine powder, which almost stopped the vomiting. It was such a huge improvement! So I feed them more often and in smaller portions. She doesn't know how to slow down and chew on chunks. Or if she gets hungry, the same will happen. She's a big baby and I love her. I try to pet her and comfort her when she eats and that seems to help. The landlord found them in the closet of the house, which the tenants left after two weeks. No water, no food. Her paws were covered in blood from trying to get out. I wanted her in a warm, cozy home and to show her love. She waits for me until she can go to bed in the same room.
