Plastic handle is good but poor Chinese bolt thread poor quality
March 2019 - black plastic handle is good and resisted using channel locks on the base of the handle to tighten. The vise thread is not finished (cast metal is not threaded through). To install the handle into the base I used a screw thread to finish off the base thread. This was very difficult and damaged the threads on both the bolt and base (it had no tap and die) and NO, there were no cross threads when it was installed; just poor production with no quality control.
