Looks sturdy and well built. Good design for the most part. No problem connecting to Sharkbite NPT to push connections. The threaded parts of the housing for the plugs appear to be fiberglass reinforced. I have not experienced any pressure drop after installing and using it with a 50 micron pre-filter. For me it was an upgrade from a 2.5x10 filter. I like the default 4.5x20 filters so I can change any filter brand or filter type later. Pressure gauges help identify clogged filters and avoid replacing the wrong filter. The pressure release buttons do what they are supposed to. My only gripe is that the two suspension holes are barely adequate given the full weight of the system. It's pretty heavy on its own, and adding a few gallons of water really adds to the weight. I suggest 1/4" or 6mm set screws and a couple of washers if you're hanging it. I'll keep an eye on it. The unit has almost no impact on TDS compared to the previous single poly filter, but that's to be expected Significant reduction in sparking of well water.
