Review on Renewed OnePlus 7 Pro GSM Unlocked Phone - 256GB, 6.7" Display, Mirror Grey, Android OS by Itsara Thanomvong ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Try unlocking your phone with just one finger while it's on the table. With this phone, it can be done in two touches. Turn off the screen with one finger from the desktop also in 2 touches. It is a pity that face detection is now turned on only by the power button. (although it seems clear why, in order to protect the camera mechanism from accidental unlocks by touch) Interface gestures are convenient and fast, I did not like the implementation of other brands. For the first time in my life I left standard live wallpapers on the screen - beauty =) For those who play - remove the factory film from the screen if you are not satisfied with the sensor response. You need to understand that not all games give 90Hz. Playing with headphones that are plugged into the adapter in the center of the side face is not as convenient as when the plug was on the edge, and bluetooth ears give a delay. The photos are good even in the evening, but the capabilities of OnePlus cameras still do not reach the s20, iPhone and pixel (in terms of aggregate parameters: detail of night photos, shooting speed, video smoothness) In my opinion, for a price tag of up to 50k among android devices with the above advantages, there is simply no alternative =).

Pros
  • For a price tag of up to 50k, even at the end of 2022, it will be an excellent choice for those for whom its advantages are important and its disadvantages are not so critical. 515 pixel density and 90 hertz - makes the image smooth and clear. Processor 855+ cannon, no problems with games. Screen without holes drops and greasy indents around the edges. Charging is fast and the battery lasts for a day. Screen and back glass with anti-scratch GG5, it is difficult to break it and scratch too, see coating tests. Face unlock is also fast for its pop-up camera design. Everything works smartly and smoothly, there are no friezes in the interface at all. The sound mode switch in 3 positions is a proprietary feature. For conspiracy theorists, a separate plus is that no one is watching you from the front camera =)
Cons
  • The under-screen fingerprint could be more accurate and faster, but it works and is handy when the phone is on the table. The roundings on the screen are very smooth, I would like the rounding radius to be smaller (the new Samsung s20 has already gone away from this) 5-7% of the screen remains in the glare band, this is not always convenient. Bluetooth works with a delay for multimedia in the car, with BT headphones there is also a sound lag in some applications. The processor still throttles by 10-12%, but does not drop the frequency. (I'll attach a screenshot, I tested it at maximum brightness) the weight of 200 grams is a lot, for example for VR glasses, although the resolution is suitable, the graininess is minimal. The standard case makes the phone much thicker and swipes from the bottom and sides are not so pleasant because of the case. I changed it to a thinner one, but the screen protection is lower. There is no wireless charging, I don’t see the point in it, when you can charge from 20 to 80 over a wire in 30 minutes. To get a normal sound on wired headphones with a 3.5 connector, you will have to buy an adapter, and any one for 50 will not work here.
