It was smaller than I thought I have the smallest . I also didn't expect the water to be so shallow that my filter that I was given had to be filled with water past the ramp and set up some rocks. Another filter that allows a minimum one inch water level would be great. I wanted a filter as I was adding rocks and didn't want to clean the dirty water every few days. The two musk turtles seem to be enjoying and exploring. It will be good to use them until they grow another inch or so, and then switch to something larger. But I recommend if you have the right filter that they actually have dry land. I'm not too worried about having musky kids who enjoy being under shallow water anyway.
