Review on 🔩 The Ultimate Rotating Mechanical Constructor for Engineering Enthusiasts: Perfect for Adults and Teenagers by Kyle Costello

Losing home big equipment.

Good clear pictures show how it is assembled. Relatively easy assembly for ages 14 and up, as recommended by the manufacturer. This will certainly be a problem for younger children. A bit misleading as the photos show young children in front of this thing. Presumably the older sibling's parents collected it for her? Only awarded three stars because the final drive has a lot of potential. There's no adjustment as three small fixed gears hold it in place. This gives it free play often enough to prevent the ball from falling out of the main wheel onto the track. Sometimes it even gets stuck there, causing everything to stop. I've found that it works much better if I push the outer wheel in a bit with my finger while it's spinning, which eliminates some of the play. I'm a retired engineer and I think I can take it apart and drill the axle holes a little deeper to tighten it up. Thing is, I shouldn't have done it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Safety
