We have an older kitten who tooth and nails refuses to let us tend his tummy. He lets us rub his tummy, but the moment the brush pops out, the deadly mittens fall out. These grooming mitts are the stealth ninja for removing excess fur from your tummy without losing a single finger. Our other cats are big fans too. Gloves with a plastic ball-point needle were unanimously hated by all of our cats and dogs, but these nubs are gentler on their skin. They will all relax and stretch while being cared for. Talk about the improvement over trying to secretly cross out a few lines every time they get distracted. The gloves are easy to clean and hold all the loose hair well between the picks until you remove the hair mat or slap the trash can with your hand, causing the hair to fall out on its own. The fit is also comfortable. The fingers are more like a regular glove (thinner, better fit) and offer more control when caring for sensitive areas like the eyes. The back of the gloves stretches to fit even large hands, while the Velcro strap keeps them secure on the wrist. This pair of gloves was one of the most expensive I looked at, but the better, more customized fit and excellent hair removal made them worth the extra cost.
