Purchased two of these based on high reviews and features. Both units are defective. One heats; shows 170 on the screen, but cannot set the timer and cannot change temperature. The other unit never powered on at all. The manual says to unplug, wait a few minutes, then plug in again if it does not power on. I did that several times. I gave up. I expect to come across a defective item occasionally. It happens with manufactured good. But getting two of the same item and both are defective suggests something inherently defective with the product design.
