Perfect for my Briggs 31 engine. Made the start of a dream versus a nightmare. Time will tell how long this lasts. After a few hours and a dozen starts, it's working fine. For every hour spent disassembling/assembling, the cleaning takes 2 hours. Time is well used. After a thorough cleaning, I recommend lubricating the pivots, tappets, rocker arms, etc. when reassembling the engine. "I don't want to break something by grinding metal on metal on the first start. And when everything is ready, do not forget to pour oil into the engine. I was so excited I almost forgot. I have to admit I was hesitant to buy a cheap fake. But since Briggs made the flawed design causing all this work, I didn't want to support them by buying the same part again or paying more than I had to. If it breaks sooner I have to say it was handmade and will use a Briggs part next time. Until then (maybe forever) five stars.
