As I have seen in many reviews the cover and seat are made of thin plastic. They could be made more durable. As one reviewer wrote, the extended seat is not very extended. He mentioned that he had to put his key on the seat to use the bidet functions. As a 220lb, 6ft tall guy I can agree with that. The extended seat is not full length. I had to position the bidet forward on the bracket system, leaving 1.25 inches between the tank and the lid. The lid is still 0.25 inches from the edge of the bowl. Doesn't look good but I didn't want to stand too far forward when using the bidet. The full opening of the seat is only slightly larger than a regular round toilet seat. Many people have complained that warm water only lasts 20-30 seconds. This is not my experience. According to the instructions, warm water lasts a good 50 seconds. But it also recovers fairly quickly. If you need more time to wash, just wait a minute and try again. The functions seem to work well and there is a lot of pressure, even at low levels. doesn't dry out completely without using some TP first. I don't think it was designed to dry everything and leave the rest to the dryer. Overall I like it and I think it works well. I still have to get used to it and this is my first bidet.
