I was a bit nervous about buying an unfamiliar branded product at such a low price, but I really wanted low profile aluminum pedals as I cut a lot of rocks and roots. And wow, these things are great! Out of the box, they felt solid and the bearings turned smoothly. On the bike they were wide enough for my foot and stuck to my shoes like glue. The low profile helped me avoid rocks, but as the clutch gave me more confidence I became more aggressive, clipping the rock and the pedal feels normal. Important note: wear the right shoes. The first pair I tried had a relatively firm sole and I lost my balance a few times. The second pair of shoes I tried had a much softer sole and the pedal pins went in tight.
