There's no denying the build quality is amazing. However, I deducted 4 stars because the design forced me to remove it and give it away. Arrived in excellent condition. The first impression is that they are thin and light. Only 330 grams for both pedals. The spikes are sharp and hold shoes well. The filaments were sealed with a plastic shipping cap, which seemed to work. They bonded easily. Also in the box was a set of washers for the pedals and 4 spare bolts. I was a bit nervous about buying an unfamiliar branded product at such a low price, but I really wanted low profile aluminum pedals as I cut a lot of rocks and roots. And wow, these things are great! Out of the box, they felt solid and the bearings turned smoothly. On the bike they were wide enough for my foot and stuck to my shoes like glue. Picked them up to build a cheap bike for sale. Then I got a downhill bike and needed the pedals for the weekend, so I borrowed those pedals for a while.
