This seller did a good job combining both parts needed to replace Kohler single handle faucets. I have reviewed these items separately. Don't bother replacing the device without the case. You will waste your time and money. You need these two parts! Why? No matter how crazy it may sound, microcracks appear in the housing, which leads to leaks. I have replaced them many times due to hard well water. Do yourself a favor, take a picture of the scale box with your phone and replace it exactly as it was. Others say hot or cold water was mixed up after installation. You can install this valve incorrectly and this may be the cause. This is a simple solution that only takes a few minutes. Also, make sure to tighten the shower handle fixing ring to avoid leaks behind the shower. Have fun!
