Just a few design changes and this could be a great product. It is easy to put on and take off and is as comfortable as you would expect from an ankle brace. My biggest disappointment is the inability to get adequate lateral compression between the two hard panels. I solved this problem by wrapping the outer Velcro strap around the entire bracelet at its widest point between the hard plates. If the manufacturer added another strap so the user could increase the pressure a bit, it would be a near-perfect brace. Be that as it may, there is a relatively simple fix for the lack of a built-in compression feature.
