Review on 2 Pairs Bicycle Disc Brake Pads For Sram Guide RSC Avid XO Elixir 7 9 Trail 4 Piston MTB Disc Brakes (Resin,Semi-Metallic,Sintered Metal) by Desmin Dickerson

Experienced bike mechanic who spends the summers downhill mountain biking. Thought I'd save a few dollars and give these a try. I bought two sets for front and rear(4 sets of pads) for Sram Guide brakes. Cleaned rotors with rubbing alcohol, installed pads (had to reuse the existing Sram locking bolts as these just come with a cotter pin) and properly bedded the pads in (15-20 heat cycles). First ride, SQUEEL and limited stopping power. Cleaned pads and rotors again, resurfaced rotors (wet/dry sandpaper and alcohol), no dice, no improvement. OK, perhaps 1 set of pads contaminated. Tried other set. No difference. Swapped in new rotors, re-bed pads, no difference. Threw them away, bought Sram pads, no problem. Don't waste your money.
