Review on AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Processor: Unlocked 8-Core CPU with Wraith Prism Cooler for Powerful Desktop Performance by Adam Sterlinski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

For a long time I chose a midi case for the cooling system, where the place for it is 170 + mm, I stopped at the gamemax black hole, two 200mm turntables were already installed in front of it, I also put 2 on the top 140mm and one back 120mm, bp at the bottom, everything fit perfectly. Processor 3800x in idle 33 degrees, in full load 66 degrees, in games 52-58 depending on the game. The only thing I advise is to set the speed of the cooler of the x570 chip to 85-90%, since they all heat up to 75-80 degrees on the machine or even higher on other mothers, at high speeds the chip heats up in idle 55-56 degrees, in load +10 degrees , which is basically normal (4300 rpm on the chip is not audible at all).

Pros
  • I thought to take the 3700x, but the 3800x turned out to be cheaper by 200r, xs like that, so I took it. It works fine on AsRock x5700 extreme4, HyperX HX432C16PB3AK2/32 memory (2 16 gig sticks), cool thermalright macho rev. B, everything started up without dancing with a tambourine, immediately set the XMP profile to 3200. Per 1 core showed 4550 MHz in Hades , for all cores in the 4300 MHz test, this is without overclocking and other things, everything is by default.
Cons
  • Haven't noticed yet.
