As this is an absolutely perfect fit extra effort is REQUIRED to bring the two sides together. I put mine between two thick cloth work gloves. After using a small household hammer for about three minutes, it seems to snap securely into place. I think it's about. The time will show. To advise others, try to lay it down on a hard surface first when it arrives and press firmly. Only then can you try the hammer method. The key fob is neat and worth the effort.
